Job Summary

Our Exterior Carpenter is responsible for managing daily jobsite activities, coordinating with the Project Manager and Crew to complete dry rot repairs, framing, siding, and decking projects. This is a hands-on role requiring strong carpentry skills, good communication, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a small crew on residential repair projects

Perform skilled carpentry and oversee all phases of jobsite work

Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards

Read and follow job scopes, plans, and schedules

Coordinate materials, equipment, and daily workflow

Document job progress using Buildertrend (daily logs, photos, updates)

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite

Communicate clearly with the office, PM, and clients as needed

Qualifications

3+ years of carpentry or construction experience

Strong knowledge of framing, siding, waterproofing, and exterior repairs

Reliable transportation and basic hand tools

Ability to use mobile apps

Clear communication and leadership skills

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in crawlspaces or on ladders
