What is Expert Technology PMO & Strategy?

The Expert Technology PMO & Strategy will be responsible for driving large-scale, cross-functional technology and fintech transformation programs. The role requires strong program governance, stakeholder management, and end-to-end delivery oversight across wallet, payments, integrations, digital channels, and regulatory initiatives. The individual will ensure alignment between business strategy, product vision, and technology execution while delivering high-impact, mission-critical programs.

What does Expert Technology PMO & Strategy do?

Key Responsibilities

· Convert high-level business goals into a phased technical roadmap and prioritized backlog, ensuring alignment with the overall growth strategy.

· Lead multi-vendor delivery plans, establish RACI matrices, and manage executive reporting cadences for high-impact fintech projects.

· Coordinate between internal Technology, Product, and Risk teams, as well as external vendors and partners, to validate delivery timelines.

· Ensure all fintech programs meet the stringent security controls and audit requirements mandated by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and internal governance frameworks.

· Drive integration programs involving core wallet systems, payment gateways, switching platforms, APIs, and third-party partners.

· Manage program risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies proactively.

· Track and report program performance to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

· Lead change management, rollout planning, and go-live readiness activities.

· Establish best practices for program governance, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:
What are we looking for and what does it require to be Expert Technology PMO & Strategy?

Required Skills & Experience

· 8-12 years of relevant experience in fintech, digital banking, or large-scale program management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or "Lead" capacity.

· Deep expertise in digital wallet technologies, mobile money, banking APIs, payment ecosystems, financial transaction flows and financial switch infrastructure.

· Expert proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.

· Proven experience managing large-scale technology transformation or digital payment programs.

· Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

· Experience in risk management, compliance-driven projects, and regulatory environments.

· Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

· Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native platforms is desirable

· Familiarity with DevOps workflows (CI/CD, Git, automation tools) is a plus

· Strong, and stakeholder management abilities

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Telecom, or related field.
