Mount Dora Veterinary Hospital is a well-established, progressive, fast-paced multi-doctor general practice located in Mount Dora, FL. We offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients including Preventative Care, Surgery, Urgent Care, Orthopedic Surgery, In-House Diagnostics, Digital full-body and dental radiology, Medical and/or Vacation Boarding and more. 
Mount Dora Veterinary Hospital is located in the beautiful small town of Mount Dora, FL. The proximity to 429 allows for easy commuting to Orlando. As an experienced Veterinary Technician, your responsibilities will include:
• Triage and patient restraint for exams and treatments
• Skilled sample collection and in-house laboratory diagnostics
• Anesthetic induction and monitoring
• Surgical prep and assistance, including orthopedic procedures
• Radiographic imaging (digital full-body and dental)
• Hospitalized patient care, medication administration, and treatment support
• Clear, compassionate communication with clients regarding care plans and procedures
You’ll also have access to hands-on training, and the support needed to grow into advanced roles if desired.
We’re looking for:
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a veterinary technician in a clinical setting is required
• Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, lab diagnostics, and patient care
• Strong communication skills and a calm, team-focused attitude
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment
• A self-starter with a passion for ongoing learning and growth
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Pay Range:$18-$22/hour dependent on experience and license status
