Experienced Logistics Info Systems Specialist (Lifecycle Support)

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently seeking an Experienced Logistics Info Systems Specialist (Lifecycle Support) to join the Engineering Tools Team.
The selected candidate will maintain the Contenta, XPP, and Arbortext software, as well as the Windows server infrastructure required to deliver products to our customers. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and supporting the software to support next-generation S1000D programs.
This role directly supports authoring teams of over 450 users working on programs including F-18, F-15, proprietary programs, Weapon Systems, T-45, AV-8, and CH-47. These programs are utilized by the Tech Data organizations for both electronic and paper publication deliveries.
Position Responsibilities:
• Maintain Contenta/XPP systems on production and development servers.
• Provide user support and training.
• Maintain and develop XPP stylesheets per Mil-Specs for technical publications.
• Maintain and develop automated processing scripts using Perl.
• Manage user access via tool access requests, Export Control, and Citizenship verification checks.
• Monitor usage levels to optimize license pools and server performance.
• Conduct user analysis.
• Control user groups, install upgrades, and monitor system performance.
• Maintain CH147 IETP production and development instances.
• Troubleshoot server and software-related issues.
• Ensure server security compliance is maintained.
• Ensure import/export controlled data complies with Internal Control Plans (ICP).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• 5+ years of Perl scripting experience
• 5+ years of experience with Windows Server 2019 or later
• 3+ years configuring and maintaining Windows File Shares
• 5+ years of experience with Arbortext Editor
• 5+ years of experience with Contenta and XPP software
• Experience creating XSLT stylesheets
• Experience with import/export control programs
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• 5+ years of experience creating Batch and Windows PowerShell scripts
• 5+ years of SGML and XML experience
• Experience maintaining/configuring Active Directory and applying domain group policies

Summary pay range: $96,050 - $129,950
