What You’ll Do:
Assist attorneys in all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, modifications, and enforcements.
Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and orders.
Maintain organized case files, manage deadlines, and coordinate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
Conduct legal research and gather necessary case information.
Support attorneys in mediation and trial preparation.
Provide compassionate and professional client support throughout the legal process.
What You Bring to the Table:
2+ years of family law experience in a fast-paced legal setting.
Strong drafting and document preparation skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with Denton County courts (preferred).
Proficiency with legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education & Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
Paralegal certification or equivalent experience in family law.
Knowledge of Texas family law procedures and court filings.
