PwC’s ESG team supports organizations in navigating the complex sustainability landscape by providing deep expertise in ESG risk management and regulatory compliance. We specialize in identifying, collecting, and analyzing sustainability data to help clients measure their impact with precision and reliability. We assist in climate mitigation and adaptation efforts, conduct materiality assessments, and guide the development and monitoring of key performance and risk indicators (KPIs and KRIs). Our services focus on comprehensive support for all types of sustainability reporting, ensuring alignment with evolving standards and stakeholder expectations.  

We are seeking a motivated ESG Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will support clients in developing and implementing their ESG strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and enhancing their sustainability reporting. 
  

What You’ll Do: 

• Work on projects for international companies, developing tailored ESG strategies to meet their specific needs and compliance requirements. 

• Assist in preparing ESG reports and regulatory compliance assessments for financial and non-financial corporations. 

• Support clients in conducting materiality assessment, readiness assessments and due diligence. 

• Assist in implementing ESG risks and aspects into client’s business strategy, processes and policies. 

• Provide support and advice on sustainable value creation for clients. 

• Conduct data analysis to identify ESG performance and gaps. 

• Collaborate with senior colleagues and engage with PwC sustainability experts across Europe. 
  

Who You Are: 

• You have a university degree in business, environmental science, sustainability management, engineering, or a related field. 

• You have a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in ESG consulting, sustainability reporting, or a related field. 

• You are familiar with sustainability reporting standards and regulations (e.g., GRI Standards, CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy Regulation, SFDR, SDGs, GHG-accounting, ESG risk management). 

• You are fluent both English, German is a strong advantage. 

• You have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and summarizing skills. 

• You are passionate about environmental, social and governance topics. 

• You enjoy teamwork and client interactions.
