Position Overview :

Boeing India Engineering has an immediate opening for an Experienced Electronics Design and Analysis Engineer to work in the areas of high-speed digital and mixed signal electronics. This position offers a unique opportunity to work complex technical challenges in support of safety operation and return to service. Boeing India Engineering oversees the design, development, manufacture, integration and testing of LRU designs for various Avionics systems.

This role will be based out of Bengaluru, India.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Candidate shall perform architecture development, detailed circuit design and requirements analysis and breakdown.
• Candidate shall perform simulations such as SI and PI.
• Candidate shall conduct analyses (e.g. trade studies, timing, tolerance analysis, worst case analyses).
• Candidate shall integrate with various cross functional teams (systems, PCB layout, mechanical, FPGA/CPLD, firmware/BIOS, software, testing and manufacturing teams)
• Candidate shall be responsible for functional testing and shall perform environmental compliance testing such as EMI/EMC, thermal, vibration testing, indirect lightning and power quality testing.
• Candidate is expected to track statuses of all technical performance measures
 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Candidate should be strong in high-speed digital and analog mixed signal designs.
• Candidate should have basic knowledge of power supply designs, LDO and thermal design.
• Candidate should possess right understanding of grounding and shielding concepts, chassis design.
• Candidate should have experience in design of high-speed interfaces – I2C, UART, SPI, PCIe, SATA, DDR4, USB, ethernet and ARINC.
• Candidate should have experience in schematic entry, providing PWB layout stack up, preparing PWB layout guidelines and reviewing PWB, CCA drawings.
• Candidate should have experience in conducting all analysis (stress, WCCA, tolerance, timing)
• Candidate should have performed PI analysis, SI analysis and environmental testing.
