In this dynamic environment, we are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Senior Associate to join our Research team, based in Athens. 

• Develop and execute advanced econometric and macroeconomic analyses 
• Conduct comprehensive industry and company analyses, identifying emerging trends, risks, and opportunities for senior stakeholders 
• Integrate, model, and interpret complex financial datasets 
• Synthesise and communicate analytical findings through high-impact technical reports, executive summaries, and sector presentations, tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences 
• Ensure the highest standards of accuracy, clarity, and relevance in all deliverables, consistently exceeding expectations for quality and analytical rigor 
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate complex research outcomes into actionable recommendations and innovative solutions 

What you bring matters 

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a quantitative discipline, with a proven record of excellence from a Greek or international university 
• Advanced degree (MSc/MA/PhD) in Economics, Political Science, Applied Economics, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on quantitative and analytical coursework 
• Three (3) to five (5) years of hands-on experience in economic research, consulting, including the design and execution of complex research projects and econometric modeling 
• Track record of publishing research or contributing to thought leadership through articles, presentations, or sectoral analysis, demonstrating strong written communication and storytelling skills 
• Expertise in econometric software (e.g., Stata, R, Python, SAS, SPSS, EViews), with a demonstrated ability to build, validate, and interpret advanced models. 
• Exceptional data analysis skills: adept at extracting, cleaning, and synthesising large datasets; applying rigorous quantitative methods; and translating findings into actionable insights. 
• Proven ability to communicate complex economic concepts clearly and persuasively through technical reports and executive summaries, tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of research, from data collection to final reporting, ensuring high-quality deliverables. 
• Strong project management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs in a timely manner. 
• Collaborative team player with experience working in cross-functional and multicultural teams, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within PwC’s dynamic ecosystem. 
• Commitment to ongoing professional development, including participation in training, workshops, and industry conferences, in line with PwC’s focus on continuous learning and upskilling. 
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for presentation and professional document preparation 
• Strong verbal and writing skills in English and in Greek
