Experienced Accountant / Reporting Specialist (m/f)

Job Description & Summary

Our Shared Service Centre (SSC) is currently looking for an Experienced Accountant / Reporting Specialist. This is an opportunity for a talented, self-motivated individual to develop their skill set and network in PwC, working with experienced Accounting and Finance practitioners across the region.

Your responsibilities:

 - Overseeing general ledger journal entries and ensuring their accuracy 

- Coordinating month-end closing activities 

- Ensuring balance sheet accounts are reconciled

- Supporting VAT preparation

- Supervising and developing accounting staff

- Supporting financial statements preparation

- Participation on standardization and efficiency projects

- Other agreed accounting tasks per specific requirements 

Personality requirements and skills

- 5+ years’ experience in complex accounting

- Good knowledge of IFRS

- Good command of English

- Good knowledge of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles 

- Experience in VAT preparation and corporate tax 

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 

- Strong attention to detail, ability to analyze and interpret financial data

- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently
