Superside is hiring an Experience Design Lead to shape and deliver spatial, interactive brand experiences across AR, VR, and 3D web. You’ll lead projects end-to-end, guiding concepts, workflows, and teams of designers and technologists to create work that blends creativity, usability, and innovation. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on creative excellence, operational precision, and the intelligent use of AI to expand what immersive design can do.

What You’ll Do:
• Lead Immersive Projects from concept through delivery, ensuring creative excellence and operational smoothness.
• Drive ideation and vision-setting for immersive experiences, translating customer objectives into innovative design solutions.
• Coordinate and guide a multidisciplinary team of 3D and visual designers, experience designers, and creative technologists.
• Partner with project managers, creative directors, and clients to align on concept, objectives, scope, feasibility and delivery milestones.
• Oversee quality across visual, interaction, and technical layers, ensuring cohesive output.
• Apply user-centered design best practices to touchless interfaces in AR, VR, 3D web and spatial environments.
• Experiment with AI, AR, and spatial computing to streamline workflows and spark new creative directions.
• Advocate for innovation and design rigor within a fast-moving, global team.

What You’ll Bring:
• Extensive experience in experience or interaction design, with a portfolio spanning AR/VR, 3D web, and interactive installations in physical space.
• Track record of leading design teams or projects with the ability to mentor, inspire, and coordinate specialists.
• Strong conceptual and systems-thinking skills with the ability to turn abstract ideas into tangible experiences.
• Proficiency with immersive tools and platforms such as Unity, Unreal, WebGL, Three.js, or XR prototyping tools.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across creative, technical, and customer-facing teams.
• Comfort working in ambiguity and iterating quickly through experimentation.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered design tools (e.g., text-to-3D, LLM workflows, generative style tools).
• Ability to spot opportunities for AI in immersive design, and drive internal adoption through experimentation, training, and advocacy.
