Job Description:

To provide organizational assistance to the Department Chairman; thereby, alleviating him of a wide variety of complex tasks, including advising and certification for students enrolled in the Department of Military Science and Leadership Minor, University budget, and administrative details to perform the operational responsibilities of the Department in response to the University and Department of the Army. To serve with extensive dual knowledge of the University and Department of the Army policies and procedures; thereby providing excellent program image and quality customer service. Coordinates Department of Military Science and Leadership special events including the University community, parents, students, and general public .
Minimum Qualifications:

Considerable knowledge of customer service and problem resolution techniques. Working knowledge of information systems and PC-related software used to prepare correspondence, produce reports and manipulate data. Some general budget and accounting knowledge. Effective oral and written communication skills. Effective time management and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to apply and interpret policy, procedures, and regulations. Demonstrated ability to work independently and to work effectively within a team. Demonstrated ability to lead and direct the work of others.
