about the role
We are looking for an Associate. The Associate at True Search will act as a key team member working alongside Partners & Principals in search execution. Over the course of a search, an effective Associate conducts research, builds target company lists, sources and screens candidates and manages the majority of data entry into our database, Thrive TRM. An Associate on the pathway to Senior Associate should own the entire candidate pipeline, the majority of candidate relationships and have more ownership on key search related activities with less Partner oversight.
what you’ll do
•
The Associate works closely with a Partner and/or Principal and serves as a key strategic resource to the search team including but not limited to new candidate & company research, candidate pipeline development, candidate engagement through LinkedIn, emails or phone calls and overall project management for each assigned search
•
At the outset of a search, ensure completion of job description, target company list and market map
•
Conduct detailed research projects to map candidates & companies from relevant industries
•
In partnership with your Partner or Principal, the Associate is responsible for sourcing, screening & reviewing 50-75% of all candidates for each assigned search

Work effectively with the Engagement Administrator on scheduling of candidate interactions and consistently engage with the Partner throughout the search

Prepare for client update calls by creating a clear agenda with discussion topics and ensuring each search instance of Thrive TRM is updated and error-free
•
During every client update call, transcribe notes detailing company updates, candidate updates and client suggestions
•
Outside of each assigned search, consistently discover & add qualified candidates outside of the True network to Thrive TRM
who you are
•
Proven experience--One to three years of professional experience in an externally facing client management consulting role (change management, human capital, executive search, etc) or operational experience in an executive position (reporting to the CEO) at a high growth/innovative company

Organized and Efficient--able to balance multiple tasks with set deadlines in a fast-paced environment
•
Strong Communicator and Listener--Attentive listener with strong oral and written communication skills
•
Excellent Collaborator--desire to work and support colleagues across the platform and regions
•
Initiator-- Willing to take initiative and work independently when needed
•
Critical Thinker– Ability to accurately evaluate candidates and determine their suitability for an organization.

Strong Work Ethic– Demonstrates reliability and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast paced environment.
