Job Summary:
This role will be responsible for shaping fiction content that will create significant business value and resonates with the channel philosophy, viewers, business objectives and targets.

About the team:
The Fiction team of Star Jalsha is known for producing high-quality content that appeals to a wide audience and has won several awards for its programming. The team is responsible for mining and developing path breaking concepts all the while upholding channel philosophy and delivering on channel priorities.

Key Responsibilities::
• Support in developing content that resonates with the channel philosophy, viewers, business objectives and targets.
• Support in building a content pipeline which delivers on future needs and evolving consumer and societal trends.
• Leverage data and insights into stories and characters.
• Own processes and execute with minimal supervision –
• Editorial & Content:
• Story coordination with Production House (PH)
• Review of edited episodes and one-liners
• Weekly content analysis (every Thursday)
• Maintaining queue sheets
• Promotions & Marketing:
• Arranging and editing promotional scripts with internal Promo team and PH
• Supervising promotional GFX, press materials, and digital promotional assets
• Coordinating marketing integrations
• Compliance:
• Liaising with Standards & Practices/ legal team
• Negotiating and altering content where required
• Stakeholder & Artist Management:
• Handling key stakeholders and artist coordination
• Aligning talent availability for promotions and channel requirements
• Managing ongoing PR deliverables and visibility plans
• Operations:
• Regular follow-ups with Production House
• Ensuring seamless telecast delivery

• Passion for content and deep understanding of storytelling.
• Comfort with scale and pace.
• Deep interest in India and social trends, including viewer behavior and evolving tastes and affinities.
• Stakeholder Management.
• Ability to deliver within tight deadline.
• Proficiency in Bengali.

Preferred Education & Experience::
• Graduate/ Post-graduate in Arts, Film & TV Production
• 4 – 8 years of relevant experience in creating content
