Job Summary:
The incumbent will be responsible for the end-to-end development and execution of non-fiction shows, overseeing the content from concept to final delivery and broadcast. This role requires strong creative vision, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with both internal stakeholders and external production partners.

About the team:
The Non-Fiction team at Colors Kannada creates engaging and entertaining shows like reality programs, game shows, and special events that connect with our Kannada audience. We work closely with top talent and production houses to bring fresh ideas to life. Our goal is to deliver high-quality content that reflects the culture and spirit of Karnataka.

Key Responsibilities::
• Responsible for the development of programming non-fiction show and the supervision of that show through delivery and broadcast.
• To ensure ideas, stories & scripts are reviewed and ready ahead of time and in sync with the programming strategy.
• Work closely with internal teams (Programming Strategy, Marketing, Legal, OAP) for smooth execution and alignment of content with business goals.
• Review and approve scripts, rough cuts, and final episodes to ensure engaging, high-quality content.
• Create high quality, entertaining and engaging programming that exceeds expectations.
• Create and maintain robust relationships with production companies in order to develop new programming ideas for the network / clients.
• Deliver shows that are on budget and schedule.

Skills & Attributes for success::
• Strong ideation, storytelling, creative and evaluation skills.
• Proficiency in Kannada is a must.
• Problem solving and decision skills.

Preferred Education & Experience::
• Bachelor’s Degree / master’s degree, Preferably Visual Communication.
• Minimum 4 – 8 years of experience in the handling Non-fiction shows.
