Emergency Childcare Services is seeking a strong, mission-driven leader to serve as the Director of Early Childhood Developmental Services for a local Child Care Center.

What You’ll Lead
As Director, you will oversee the daily operations, staff development, and overall performance of the child development center and related programs.
You will play a key role in:
✔ Strengthening program quality and outcomes
✔ Developing and mentoring teaching staff
✔ Building a positive and accountable team culture
✔ Ensuring compliance with licensing and regulatory standards
✔ Supporting families through responsive leadership
Key Leadership Responsibilities
Program Leadership
Oversee daily operations of early childhood programs
Ensure compliance with licensing, documentation, and service standards
Monitor program outcomes, performance metrics, and quality indicators
Lead Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives
Staff Leadership & Development
Recruit, hire, and develop high-performing early childhood staff
Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
Address performance issues while maintaining a supportive culture
Foster teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth
Strategic Leadership
Develop program goals and operational priorities
Communicate effectively with staff, leadership, and community partners
Represent the program with internal and external stakeholders
Maintain a positive and professional environment for staff and families

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field
Leadership or management experience in early childhood or child development programs
Experience supervising staff and managing program operations
Valid Driver’s License
