Executive Chef
for our newest venture,
OVEA hotel in Paros.
As the Executive Chef, you will lead the culinary team to create an unforgettable dining experience that embodies the essence of the Mediterranean lifestyle. You will be responsible for menu development, kitchen management, and implementing culinary excellence that aligns with the brand's vision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Craft and innovate seasonal menus that highlight local produce and traditional Mediterranean flavors.
• Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring high quality and consistency in food preparation and presentation.
• Mentor and develop kitchen staff, fostering a culture of creativity and teamwork.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a pristine and efficient kitchen environment.
• Manage food costs and inventory efficiently to maximize profitability while maintaining service excellence.
• Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience and respond to feedback effectively.
Requirements:
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a high-end restaurant or hotel environment.
• 5+ years of proven experience in a similar executive role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in menu design and cost control methods.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; knowledge of Greek is a plus.
