Role: Executive Assistant/Video Editor

Monthly Rate: $750

Availability: Part-time 20 hours/week

Time Zone: Split shift, morning and afternoon US hours

Requirements:
Experience Needed/Responsibilities:

Video Editing (priority if skill is strong)

Edit a high volume of short-form and long-form content for:

* Client projects including on-site shoots, brand stories, and marketing campaigns

* Enchanted Dawn brand content

* Katelyn’s personal brand content

Work with multi-hour raw footage and:

* Quickly understand the story or narrative Katelyn is trying to capture

* Pull out key moments, hooks, and story beats without needing timestamp by timestamp direction

* Edit in multiple styles including social shorts, brand videos, reels, TikToks, promo clips, and longer-form content

* Apply and adapt to different brand voices and visual and tonal guidelines for Enchanted Dawn, Katelyn’s personal brand, and individual client brands

* Incorporate hooks, pattern interrupts, and attention capturing tactics appropriate for current social platforms

Trend Awareness & Proactive Content Creation:

* Stay current with US social media and video trends, especially on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts

* Proactively suggest and create trend-aligned content using existing footage when relevant

* Demonstrate initiative by identifying opportunities within archived or backlog B-roll and producing timely content without prompting

* Understand pacing, formats, and creative strategies that resonate with US based audiences

Media Organization & Asset Management:

* Properly store, label, and organize all raw and edited media files for easy retrieval

* Create and maintain a structured filing system for footage, B-roll, music, graphics, and final exports

* Ensure footage is categorized in a way that allows fast turnaround when trends or campaign needs arise

Admin / Executive Assistant & Internal Ops

Email Management:

* Monitor inbox, surface priorities, draft and send responses as directed

* Handle routine client, vendor, and partner communication

Calendar Management:

* Maintain Katelyn’s calendar, schedule meetings, and protect focus time

* Coordinate calls and check-ins with clients, vendors, and internal collaborators

Project & Task Management:

* Ensure all work is captured in the project management tool

* Create and maintain tasks, due dates, and dependencies

* Follow up to ensure tasks are progressing and completed on time

* Track timelines for multiple concurrent client and internal projects

Internal Design & Marketing Support:

* Help design and build internal marketing assets such as brochures so the main designer can stay focused on client-facing deliverables

* Create basic internal visuals, presentations, or simple graphics as needed

Relationship & Workflow

* Act as Katelyn’s right hand during the workday, reachable via quick channels like text or chat to clarify status and unblock decisions

* Work closely with Katelyn to build a consistent daily rhythm, including a short daily standup at the same time each morning to review priorities, status, and blockers

* Maintain proactive day-to-day communication as projects move forward

* Take initiative in organizing information, spotting gaps, and suggesting workflow improvements

Good to have:

-Event planning / coordination experience (e.g., supporting events, shoots, launches), especially relevant for future direction of Enchanted Dawn.

-Experience with short-form social video (TikToks, Reels, YouTube Shorts).

-Prior experience in creative studios, marketing agencies, or video-heavy environments.

-Comfort with a growing role that could scale from part-time to full-time as business and World Cup work ramp up.

Non-negotiable Requirements:

-Strong, demonstrable video editing skills if being considered for the Video Editor

–focused version of the role:-Ability to edit in multiple styles and formats.

-Ability to extract narrative and key moments from raw footage with limited handholding.

-Ability to differentiate and execute on multiple brand voices and aesthetics.

-Comfort working primarily in US hours with a reliable morning overlap window.

-High initiative and ownership: must proactively move projects forward and not wait passively for instructions.

-Strong communication and reliability: responsive during agreed hours, especially during busy client/video periods.
