Executive Assistant, Seth Matlins x Vox Media Podcast Network

Vox Media is partnering with Seth Matlins to launch a new media franchise and community for the world’s most influential marketing leaders. Launching in early 2026, the partnership includes a new video podcast and a global series of live events.

This is a unique early-career opportunity for a proactive operator to serve as Seth Matlins' right-hand. You will be the connective tissue between Seth, the Vox Media Podcast Network team, and the global CMO community we are building.

We need someone who is fast, sharp, and thrives in a high-volume environment. You aren't just managing a calendar: you are helping move strategic initiatives forward and acting as a primary point of contact for some of the most influential leaders in marketing.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Manage operations: Handle Seth’s complex calendar and travel, ensuring he is briefed and prepared for every podcast recording, meeting, and event.

• Executive communications: Draft and manage high-stakes correspondence. You’ll be communicating with C-suite executives daily, so your writing must be flawless and professional.

• Drive initiatives: Take the lead on special projects, ranging from guest research for the podcast to coordinating deliverables for our community members.

• Cross-functional support: Act as the liaison between Seth and the various teams within the Vox Media Podcast Network (Sales, Marketing, Production) to keep projects on track.

• Interest in the industry: You’re excited about media, marketing, and the chance to learn from the best in the business.

• 2–4 years of experience in a fast-paced environment (agency, marketing, or startup background is ideal).

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay for this position at the time of this posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
