The Ad Operations Executive is a foundational role responsible for the day-to-day execution of digital ad campaigns. This role focuses on the technical setup, trafficking, and monitoring of ads to ensure they deliver accurately and on time. Working closely with senior team members, the Executive will learn to navigate various ad tech platforms while maintaining a high standard of data integrity and troubleshooting support for internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Execution & Implementation
• Execute end-to-end trafficking of digital ad campaigns across various platforms, ensuring all creative assets meet technical specifications.
• Implement tracking tags (pixels) and naming conventions accurately according to the established campaign taxonomy.
• Perform Quality Assurance (QA) on all live campaigns to verify that landing pages, creative redirects, and tracking are functioning correctly.
Ad Tech & Platform Support
• Assist in the daily management of third-party ad servers, analytics tools, and tag management systems.
• Support GA4 event tagging and basic reporting requests to ensure data is flowing correctly from campaigns to analytics dashboards.
• Liaise with media teams to resolve basic technical discrepancies or creative rejection issues within various platforms.
Monitoring & Verification
• Monitor daily delivery of campaigns to ensure they are pacing according to budget and meeting client KPIs.
• Deploy ad verification tools (e.g., IAS, DoubleVerify) to track viewability and protect against Invalid Traffic (IVT) under the guidance of senior leads.
• Identify and flag anomalies in campaign performance or brand safety flags for immediate escalation and resolution.
Reporting & Data Maintenance
• Generate regular performance reports, pulling data from multiple sources to provide clear snapshots of campaign health.
• Maintain internal documentation and campaign logs to ensure all stakeholders have visibility into implementation timelines and technical setups.
• Troubleshoot basic tracking issues, such as conversion discrepancies or broken links, using browser developer tools and debugging software.
Requirements (Junior Level)
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Technical Aptitude: A strong interest in digital technology and the ability to learn complex software (Google Ad Manager, CM360, etc.) quickly.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision in data entry and technical setup—small mistakes can have significant financial impacts.
• Communication: Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical team members.
