Event Servers/Baker's Best Catering

Bakers’ Best Catering is currently looking for reliable part-time/on call Event Servers to work at private events that range in size and location throughout the Boston area.  Our event staff attends to all customer needs during service and provides excellent customer service skills. This position is great for someone looking for a flexible schedule that includes day/evening and weekend availability.

Tasks:

Assist with unloading/loading vans

Setting up and breaking down tables/chairs

Setting tables with place settings

Clearing tables

Passing Hors d’oeuvres/drinks

Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned stations and service areas.

Uphold the highest level of timely customer service.

Qualifications:

1 year of previous hospitality experience preferred but not required.  College students are encouraged to apply.

Dependable with strong work ethic.

Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail

Must possess a positive attitude.

Passionate about food and hospitality business.

Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.

Carrying or lifting to 30lbs.

Bending, stopping, and kneeling required.

Ability to carry out company policies and procedures.

Ability to take direction and work calmly under pressure.
