Event Security Supervisor

We are looking for a SIA-badged Event Security Supervisor to join our team in South Wales.

Responsibilities

Work alongside our operations team to deliver excellent customer service.

Coordinate with event organisers and venue management.

Lead and manage the on-site team to ensure company standards are followed.

Comply with the instructions of your manager.

Conduct briefings with security and stewarding staff to communicate roles, responsibilities, expectations and emergency procedures.

Ensure compliance with company and client policies and procedures.

Requirements

You must hold a valid SIA license - Door Supervisor Licence

Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Security Officer in the UK security industry.

A minimum of 2 years experience in a Supervisory/Leadership role, preferably within the events industry.

Level 3 Spectator Safety qualification.

Checkable 5-year work/study history.

Ability to use software and mobile applications for incident reporting and documentation review and debrief reports.

Must be willing to work as part of a team.

A positive and energetic approach to your job.

Excellent communication skills, approachable and a smile.

Ability to be on your feet for an extended period.

Physically fit and able to carry and install equipment, signage and crowd barriers.

A valid driver’s licence and access to a car are desired but not essential.

Able to travel to various locations in South Wales including Cardiff, Swansea, Newport and surrounding areas including central, north and west Wales as required.

IMPORTANT:

Due to the nature of the events industry, the contract we are offering is a flexible contract. We cannot guarantee you will work the same number of hours every month as some months are busier than others. Please bear this in mind before applying.

This is not an application for a Door Supervisor; we are actively seeking team leadership/supervision experience.
