Hiring Unit:
Department of Political Science

Position Summary:
The Event Organizer will assist in planning and hosting a hybrid workshop and public roundtable at McGill on Thursday, May 14, 2026. The workshop is designed to bring together contributors to an anthology under review at Athabasca University Press, titled The End of Extraction as We Know It? Lessons from Extractive Resistance for Sustainable Futures. They will assist in planning, budgeting, communicating, and executing the workshop under the supervision of Professor Amy Janzwood.
 

Minimum Education, Certification and Experience:

High School Diploma with two years of relevant experience in the field of work.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:
Related experience is an asset. ​
