Job Description
Our Mission and Vision
At Solidgate, our mission is clear: to empower outstanding entrepreneurs to build exceptional internet companies. We exist to fuel the builders — the ones shaping the digital economy — with the financial infrastructure they deserve. To achieve that, we’re on a bold path: to become the #1 payments orchestration platform in the world.
We believe the future of payments is shaped by people who think big, take ownership, and bring curiosity and drive to everything they do. That’s exactly the kind of teammates we want on board.
The Context Behind This Hire
In 2026, Solidgate is attending 40+ events worldwide. Right now, event prep is split across Sales, Marketing, and HR — no single owner, no unified process. Deadlines slip. Effort is duplicated. Our presence at key industry events suffers.
The Event Marketing Manager role fixes that. You'll own the full event lifecycle end-to-end — from the first calendar entry to the post-event debrief — and free our sales team to focus entirely on business conversations, not logistics.
What You Will Own
• Own end-to-end event planning across events per year — from booth booking and vendor coordination to post-event debrief.
• Keep every stakeholder aligned: Sales, Design, HR, and Marketing all move to your timeline, not the other way around.
• Handle all team logistics — travel, accommodation, transfers, visas — so everyone arrives prepared and on time.
• Own the event budget: maintain a live plan vs. actuals tracker and deliver clean financial reporting after every event.
• Build the event management playbook from scratch — covering offline conferences, trade shows, and online webinar. The processes and standards Solidgate will scale with.
Our Ideal Candidate
• 2+ years running B2B events, conferences, or trade shows end-to-end.
• You manage multiple events simultaneously and nothing falls through the cracks.
• Budget ownership is second nature — you track plan vs. actuals and close the books cleanly.
• English at B2+ — you communicate directly with international organizers and vendors without friction.
• Ready to travel. Events happen in person, and so do you.
Nice to have: FinTech/Payments/SaaS event experience, or a background at a B2B agency where you've built event processes under real pressure.
Why This Role Is a Career Accelerator
• 40+ events per year means rapid iteration — you'll get more reps in one year than most event managers get in three.
• You'll be based in the Marketing team and work closely with our VP of Sales and his team — commercially sharp people who are genuinely invested in how Solidgate shows up in the market. Close access to the business, not just the logistics.
• You build the playbook. The processes, the standards, the vendor relationships — all yours to define. That's rare at this scale.
Why Join Solidgate
• Full ownership from day one — you set the bar for how Solidgate shows up at events worldwide.
• We're already active: side dinners with 70+ industry leaders, stands at MPE Berlin, and a lot of events planned for 2026. Follow us on LinkedIn to see what we've been building — and what you'd be stepping into.
• A product that matters: we build financial infrastructure for some of the most ambitious internet businesses in the world.
• Solidgate is part of Endeavor — access to a global network of 2,000+ entrepreneurs at exclusive events and a platform most companies simply can't offer.
💌 The Extras: 30+ days off, unlimited sick leave, free office meals, health coverage, and Apple gear to keep you productive. Courses, conferences, sports and wellness benefits — all designed for ideas, focus, and fun.
Tomorrow’s fintech needs your mindset. Come build it with us.
