Founded in 2005, bnetwork is an international agency specialising in accommodation management for large-scale events, with offices in France, Spain, the UK, Austria and Switzerland.
The Geneva office plays a specific role within the group, providing worldwide venue-finding and full event management services for international conferences, corporate meetings, seminars, incentive trips and annual corporate events. This includes event planning, coordination, and supplier contracting.
Working with both private and public sector clients — including international organisations and multinational companies such as WEF, IOM, JTI and Bombardier — the Geneva office organises approximately 200 events per year, ranging from 10 to 2,000 participants, across all continents.
Position overview:
As an Junior Event Coordinator, you will manage and support event projects while cultivating long-term relationships with our clients. Your responsibilities will include responding to event inquiries, initiating and managing new projects, and identifying potential leads. You will be a part of operations team to ensure top-quality event service delivery to our clients, while also managing the financial aspects of business travel, trade show participation, and customer events.
Responsabilities:
Manage client projects from request to delivery, including RFPs, hotel sourcing and option presentations
Coordinate event logistics and ensure smooth communication with clients, suppliers and partners
Prepare and manage budgets, controlling costs on behalf of clients
Review contracts and ensure compliance with required clauses
Support the organisation of in-person, digital and hybrid events
Ensure accurate follow-up and timely project delivery
Maintain up-to-date project information in the CRM system
Profile & Qualifications:
Interest in the MICE industry and event management
First exposure to digital or hybrid events
Good organisational and communication skills
Proactive team player with a client-focused mindset
Fluent in English and French
Comfortable with Microsoft Office; eager to learn new tools
