The ICCT is looking for an intern to join our office in Beijing, working to support EV charging infrastructure-related projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the nonprofit sector, and decarbonization business.
You will:
Participate in research projects related to electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Conduct technical research and quantitative analysis under the guidance of ICCT researchers.
Support the team in drafting research reports and preparing project communication materials.
Perform other tasks as assigned based on project needs.
You have:
Senior undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled; majors in electrical engineering, transportation engineering, vehicle engineering, environmental science and engineering, computer science, or related fields are preferred.
Knowledge of or project experience related to charging infrastructure, power systems, renewable energies, or vehicle–grid interaction (VGI) is preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python for data processing is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
Availability to work at least 3 days per week, with a minimum internship duration of 6 months.
Our benefits
The internship contract will have a duration of 6 months, with a potential extension to 12 months. You will work in our Beijing office and be guided by our experienced researchers. ICCT will provide a laptop and other office equipment as needed. We are offering a salary of CNY 3,362 a month (3 days a week), or an amount proportional to the workload allowed by your university.
