What will you be doing?

We have an excellent opportunity to join the group as an EUC Engineer. Here you will provide support for Cloud-based applications and services and recommend innovations and enhancements to meet customer requirements. You’ll lead ad-hoc investigations, identify additional service requirements and assist with the delivery of new projects. You’ll also assist the Infrastructure & EUC Lead with running a quality-driven, Agile-inspired, proactive and customer/business-oriented service and one that is aligned with the strategic development of all Technology services.

 

Your knowledge and experience will help S&W deliver a flexible, robust, scalable, and cost-effective IT infrastructure that meets the full needs of all colleagues today and evolves to meets the demands of the future. You’ll help with accelerating Technology activities and enable step changes in Technology capabilities, allowing teams to build their applications faster, better, and cheaper, to the result of increasing service reliability whilst reducing the time and cost of development – it’s certainly an exciting time to join!

 

This is a permanent role to be based at our London office with a hybrid working pattern and expectation of minimum 2 days per week to be office based.

As an EUC Engineer, your responsibilities will include among others,

• Providing day-to-day technical support for a range of M365 applications and services across E5 (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint  etc.)  and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration manager (SCCM) and Intune deployment systems
• Troubleshooting and support of conference devices incl. Poly MTR devices
• Provide 3rd line escalation support from down-level support teams
• Document all support activity within the IT Incident and Change Management tracking tool and ensure standard operating procedures and known error logs are kept up to date
• Supporting the remediation of missing patches and vulnerabilities from End User Computing estate

 

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have,

• Extensive experience working as a 2nd or 3rd line Support Engineer or Cloud Specialist within a medium or large organisation
• Experience of hybrid environment, i.e. On-prem Active Directory and Azure AD
• Experience of using PowerShell for automating tasks within M365 and developing reusable scripts
• Experience and maintaining a strong security posture using Enterprise Security and Mobility Management.
• Experience in a 2500+ user environment
