We are seeking a highly motivated ETF Passive Business Development professional with strong expertise in ETF Product Research and ETF Market Research to drive growth and strategic partnerships within the passive investment space. The ideal candidate will combine deep knowledge of exchange-traded funds with strong commercial acumen to support product positioning, investor engagement, and market expansion initiatives. This role requires a blend of analytical capability, market insight, and relationship management skills to help scale ETF distribution and strengthen market presence across institutional and wealth channels.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

ETF Product Research & Strategy

• Conduct in-depth ETF product research across asset classes including equities, fixed income, commodities, and thematic ETFs.
• Analyze ETF structures, index methodologies, expense ratios, tracking errors, liquidity metrics, and performance benchmarks.
• Identify market gaps and emerging investment themes to support development of new passive ETF products.
• Evaluate competitor ETF offerings and provide insights to inform product positioning and differentiation strategies.

ETF Market Research

• Perform detailed ETF market research to track industry trends, investor flows, asset growth, and regional ETF adoption.
• Develop market intelligence reports covering ETF demand across institutional investors, wealth managers, and retail channels.
• Monitor macroeconomic developments, index changes, and regulatory developments impacting ETF markets.
• Produce research-driven insights to support business development strategies and client engagement initiatives.

Business Development & Client Engagement

• Support the distribution and growth of ETF products by working closely with institutional clients, asset managers, and distribution partners.
• Develop data-driven presentations, research notes, and investment insights to articulate the value proposition of ETF offerings.
• Collaborate with sales teams to translate research insights into actionable client strategies.
• Participate in investor meetings, webinars, and industry forums to promote ETF strategies and market perspectives.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze ETF flows, holdings, and performance data using financial data platforms and analytical tools.
• Create detailed dashboards and reports tracking ETF performance, market positioning, and competitive trends.
• Support internal stakeholders with research-driven insights for strategic decision-making.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with portfolio management, product development, research teams, and marketing to align ETF research insights with product strategy.
• Assist in developing research publications, white papers, and investor communication materials related to passive investing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–15 years of experience in ETF research, ETF product strategy, passive investment research, or ETF business development.
• Strong expertise in ETF product structures, index methodologies, and passive investment strategies.
• Proven experience conducting ETF product research and ETF market research.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial data and investment performance metrics.
• Experience working with financial data platforms such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar, or similar tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex research into clear insights.
• Strong understanding of global ETF markets, asset allocation strategies, and institutional investment trends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in asset management, investment research, capital markets, or ETF product management.
• CFA, CAIA, or similar financial certification is a plus.
• Experience engaging with institutional investors, wealth platforms, or ETF distribution channels.
