Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team in Long Island City, NY. This role focuses on preparing accurate, competitive estimates for commercial, residential, and industrial electrical projects while supporting overall project planning and ensuring profitability. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, analytical skills, and construction knowledge to help our team deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions in Long Island City and the surrounding areas.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and scopes to develop comprehensive cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Prepare, review, and submit competitive bids, factoring in risk, contingencies, and profit margins.
• Evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals, negotiating pricing and contract terms to maximize project value.
• Track historical project costs and monitor market trends to ensure accurate benchmarking.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and internal teams to align estimates with project objectives and budgets.
• Identify potential scope gaps, risks, and cost drivers, recommending practical solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:
• Proven experience in electrical estimating within construction, commercial, residential, or industrial projects.
