Job Description

🔧 We’re Hiring: Remote Auto Body Estimator
📍 Remote 🕗 Schedule: Full-time \u007C Monday–Friday \u007C 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST
We are seeking a detail-oriented Auto Body Estimator to support U.S. collision-repair shops by creating fast, accurate, and profitable repair estimates using photos, videos, and shop documentation.
This is a fully remote role working U.S. business hours. You will collaborate closely with our Estimating Lead, playing a key role in accuracy, cycle time, and insurer/OEM compliance.
🔨** Responsibilities:**
• Prepare initial estimates using photos, videos, notes, and shop documentation
• Write and revise supplements based on tear-down information or insurer adjustments
• Work in CCC ONE (experience with Mitchell or Audatex is a plus)
• Apply OEM repair procedures and insurer/DRP guidelines
• Follow carrier-specific rules for repair vs. replace, parts selection, and documentation
• Communicate with insurers via written notes/messages to justify estimate lines
• Maintain clean, organized files with proper notes, photos, and supporting documentation
• Ensure estimates meet profitability targets while remaining compliant
• Request missing information from on-site teams when needed
• Meet cycle-time expectations and maintain consistent productivity
• Follow internal SOPs for file handling, naming, updates, and communication
🧰** Qualifications:**
• 1–2+ years of collision estimating experience (flexible)
• CCC ONE experience required; Mitchell/Audatex experience is a plus
• Solid understanding of collision-estimating fundamentals: structure, panels, R&I, repair vs. replace
• Familiarity with DRP processes and OEM procedures (training available if basics are strong)
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
• High attention to detail with ability to work accurately under time constraints
• Comfortable working with parts and labor margin targets
• Reliable remote work setup: fast internet, quiet workspace, dependable computer
• Experience in the automotive industry is highly valued
