Job Title: Back-End Estimator (Collision Repair)
Location: Des Moines, WA
Pay: $30–$45 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Flexible schedule, options for a 4x10 schedule or a M-F 8am-5pm: NO WEEKENDS

What You’ll Do
Perform detailed vehicle inspections during the disassemble-for-repair (DFR) process alongside technicians
Create accurate and comprehensive repair estimates and supplements using CCC
Develop and manage complete repair plans
Communicate with insurance adjusters and occasionally customers regarding repair progress and expectations
Ensure technicians follow proper repair procedures and access necessary documentation
Maintain accurate notes and documentation in CCC
Keep all repair orders current and aligned with vehicle progress
Source and document all parts required for repairs
Assign and allocate labor to technicians
Ensure compliance with insurance guidelines and DRP requirements
Participate in daily production and release meetings
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
What We’re Looking For
1–3 years of experience as a collision estimator or insurance appraiser
Experience with damage analysis including hybrid systems, electrical components, and structural damage
Proficiency with CCC or similar collision management systems
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
I-CAR or similar industry training preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
Work Environment
Exposure to paint fumes, dust, chemicals, and shop noise
Work conditions may vary with temperature and workload
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and squat for extended periods
Perform repetitive motions throughout the day
