Estimating and Pricing Specialist – Labor Team Lead

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Estimating and Pricing Specialist – Labor Team Lead in Saint Charles, MO.
Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) in Saint Charles has a broad portfolio of programs and customers, both domestic and international. As a member of the Weapons Estimating team the successful candidate may have the opportunity to support all Direct Attack programs gaining broader experience and visibility.
Position Responsibilities:
• Lead development of complex labor estimates with complex technical requirements through the design
• Build and support all stages of the program
• Lead development and application of pricing strategies using innovative computational techniques
• Lead business proposals, evaluates and makes recommendations based on complex requests for proposal and substantiates estimates and pricing
• Develop complex pricing models
• Lead and performs complex analysis and provide recommendations in support of pricing and estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)
• Lead the development/application/maintenance of unique and non-unique rates and factors for estimating
• Lead compliance activities, policy and procedure development, deployment of new systems/tools, training development/delivery and internal audits
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Bachelor’s degree or higher degree
• 5+ years of experience in performing cost estimating/pricing function
• Experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
• Experience working on government proposals, to include Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliant proposals
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Experience with and knowledge of United States Government Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
• Experiencing performing risk analysis

Summary Pay Range: $119,000 - $161,000
