You are an experienced, vibrant, and holistic Licensed Esthetician, who believes in wellness that nourishes the body, mind, and spirit. Dedicated to delivering clean, elevated, and effective treatments, you are passionate about representing the ethos of goop in a client-facing, authentic way.

About The Role

As the Esthetician & Skincare Experience Specialist, reporting to the Store Manager, you will deliver exceptional skincare treatments that support goop’s beauty-as-wellness philosophy at our Marin store. You will play a key role in maintaining and elevating our existing in-store facial experience, ensuring consistent excellence in service, protocols, and guest experience. Through expert treatments, thoughtful client engagement, and strong operational ownership, you will help uphold goop’s high standards of luxury, wellness, and performance.

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver high-quality facial treatments, including facial massage, lymphatic drainage, and red-light therapy, ensuring all services align with goop’s elevated wellness philosophy.

• Independently manage the booking system, including scheduling, driving repeat visits, maximizing client loyalty, and acquiring new clients through in-store engagement.

• Maintain impeccable cleanliness, sanitization, and organization of the treatment room at all times, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and goop standards.

• Provide personalized product recommendations during and after treatments to enhance the guest experience and meet your set goop beauty sales goal.

• Partner with the beauty team and corporate partners to refine and optimize existing facial protocols, equipment usage, and product assortment.

• Stay aligned with goop’s brand values, training, and service standards, maintaining exceptional expertise in both treatments and product knowledge.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid California Esthetician License with experience as a Facialist, preferably in a holistic spa or wellness environment.

• Experience in setting up or managing treatment rooms and developing treatment strategies.

• Strong knowledge of skincare products, treatments, and clean beauty practices and products.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for wellness and alignment with goop’s holistic values.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment.

FAQ 

• Compensation: $26-$30/hour + equity + commission plan and service tips. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Please note that this range represents the low and high end of the anticipated rate range for the Larkspur, CA based position. Goop, in good faith, reasonably expects to pay the position within this range. Goop provides the range in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws. The actual compensation will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, training, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
