Job Description:

• Analyzing Requirements and translating requirements into Technical specs for Design and Development of Essbase Cubes in ASO Model ( 75%) and BSO Model (25%)

• Hands on Development of backend data marts  Oracle PL-SQL Programming for building Essbase Hierarchy Views/ Fact Views 

• Hand on Development of Smart View Reports / Custom Took Bar Maintenance ( using VB Scripting)

• Maintaining Hyperion Planning Applications - Changes to Web forms, User Security, Business Rules Modification and Hierarchy updates and Data Loads.

• Hand On Development and Maintenance of Autosys Scheduler Jobs for Essbase Cube builds

• Learn existing Essbase Footprint to develop into SME for future Development activities.

• Comprehensive experience in creation of Essbase applications, Essbase cubes including Analytic outlines, dimension build rules, data load rules, Workflows, user security, Calculation Scripts and Reports

• Expertise in developing Essbase applications involving BSO/ASO, Essbase Studio, Smart View, Administrative Services, LCM.

• Skilled in administering, automation, optimization and performance tuning of Essbase application data/metadata processing, upgrading, testing and migrating of cubes in different environments.

• Strong with Hyperion versions 11.x

• Strong with Oracle Database ( All Metadata and Data sourced from Oracle Database )

• Auto Sys Scheduling tool & Unix / Shell Scripting

Required Skills

• Must have 5 to 7 years of Experience in Essbase Cubes development,

• Experience with the following technologies ASO Model Cube Design/ Development. Performance Tuning ASO Model Cube

• Experience with at least 2 end to end Hyperion planning Implementations

• Experience with Web forms, Task Lists, Business Rules , Shared Services Security Provisioning

• Building Essbase Cubes using Essbase Studio and Data Mart framework Experience in  MAXL, MDX, Smart View, Essbase Toolbar Customization using VB Scripting

• Understanding the customization process for SmartView and having the ability to create custom reports and workflows

• High Proficiency with Oracle PLSQL programing

• Must have Unix shell scripting experience
