Your mission:
We are looking for you to join our Sungrow team as our new Energy Storage System technical solution Intern/Working student! What does a solution engineer do, you might ask? Well, this role is allowed to do the best part of our everyday work – to still the hunger for sustainable energy! In a little more detail, this is what you will do in your day to day job: Managing and performing high quality technical advisory works for the pre-sale’s BESS activities Project manager and interfacing between engineering disciplines (ESS electric, mechanical, civil and control scheme) Provide technical input from initial assessment through to technical and economic feasibility of the project and integration with other electrical or generating plants as necessary Review overall project conceptual design, detailed design, and design and suggest technical and design improvement for ESS projects Preparation and management of specifications, tendering, negotiation, and selection of battery storage system plant

Your profile:
All right, all right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you have in order to feel comfortable with this role? Keep in mind it`s all about electrical equipment, that`s why it is essential for you to have: Solid background in power electronics and battery technologies. Familiarity with renewable energy utility grid connection standards, power quality studies, and PCS dynamic performance approval processes. Working knowledge of PSCAD and DIgSILENT PowerFactory software.
