JOB SUMMARY
Our Escrow Professional performs duties related to all facets of escrow processing. S/He is required to exercise independent judgment and to possess the knowledge and experience necessary to efficiently handle any situation that may arise during the closing process. This position works closely with all other members of the team.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Responsibilities
Processes transactions including all transaction types
Preliminary contact with parties on all transactions
Reviews title commitment to assure all requirements have or will be met with closing
Provides document assistance to Managing Director, Operations Manger, Escrow Officer, and Staff Attorney, as assigned
Continued communication with parties as needed
Receipts and disburses funds from company escrow account as directed by Escrow Officer and Operations Manager
Follows company standards and practices when processing transactions, as well as applicable state laws and guidelines
Returns all calls, voicemails, and emails in a timely manner
Adheres to company policies and guidelines
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Assists Escrow Officer as needed with the following duties:
Reviews documents needed to prepare settlement statement (i.e., demands, loan documents, and insurance)
Prepares settlement statements for closing, including input of all relevant data and lender figures
Assures lender and company are in balance for funding
Sends settlement statement, once balanced with lender, to Agents for review and approval
Sends settlement figures to Seller, if requested by Listing Agent
Submits funding package to lender, if required, to obtain authorization to disburse
Receipts and disburses all funds from company escrow account
Prepares fee quotes for prospective clients/transactions
Performs closings in office
Submits funding package to lender, if required, to obtain authorization to disburse
QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE
Minimum of Three (3) years of experience is preferred, title experience required.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma required
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, INSURANCE
Title Insurance license preferred

Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the title industry field.
