Paramedic- Emergency Department
Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Day shift, Night shift

About the Company: Jefferson Hospital has a well-equipped emergency room, which utilizes hospital staff and contract physicians. Support services are provided for both inpatients and outpatients and
the scope of service is consistent with the current mission of the hospital to provide quality community-based primary health care to Jefferson and surrounding counties.

Job Description: We’re seeking a full-time, part-time, prn Paramedic to join our team at Jefferson Hospital.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for answering EMS radio, verifying orders, and maintaining ED Census.

Coordinates communication between the unit, medical director, primary care physician and other clinical services.

Administer approved medications via approved routes as ordered by ER physician

Oral and endotracheal suctioning

Insert oral/nasal airways

Remove sutures and staples

Suture set up and assistance

Chest Tube / pleur-e-vac set up

Central line tray set up and assistance

Position Requirements:

Certified as a Paramedic in the State of Georgia

BLS

ACLS

PALS
