Position Overview:
The Warehouse Technician requires the ability to multitask, have excellent time management skills, above-average interpersonal skills, the ability to work within a team, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, integrity, and the ability to deliver on our promise of superior customer service. The ideal candidate for this position will preferably have a background in NDT, RVI, and Unmanned Systems or experience within the Environmental industry.
This position works closely with the Branch Unit Manager to maintain a clean shop environment, perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment, and document all work, including repairs, as needed.
Responsibilities, not limited to:
Management of inventory, invoices, and agreements, procedures and policies; prepares equipment with the required accessories, calibration documentation.
Complete and maintain all paperwork related to the Rental of handheld electronic equipment. Track accessories for equipment. Perform Equipment Rental Demonstrations as appropriate.
Maintain dress code, a safe and healthy work environment by following all company standards and
procedures, complying with legal codes and regulations.
Receiving Equipment returned from rentals- Inspect, receive, and clean rental equipment to ensure inventory integrity and equipment cleanliness.
Repairs and logs- Working with equipment vendors, maintaining logs, and calibration files.
Report damaged and or missing inventory to managers.
The ability to clean, calibrate, ready, distribute, and occasionally maneuver equipment weighing less than 50lbs.
Customer Service- Intake Customer inquiries for equipment rentals, order status, and general questions. Ensure that customers are educated and understand expectations and contract obligations.
Accessories and Equipment- Sort, organize, and store inventory in the proper location and properly accounted for in reports.
Schedule pickup and drop-offs when appropriate. Receive, prepare, and complete orders for customer delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
Working Conditions:
The posted position of this job requisition is an immediate vacancy
Standard hours/week: 40 hours per week, 5 days; Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day
Shift: Starts at 8:00 AM and includes 1 hour of unpaid lunch time, and is a salaried role
Recurring Wages will be payable via Direct Deposit
Physically fit to lift equipment of up to 23kg with ease.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent degree
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, organizational, and time management.
Exceptional Organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Possessing technical skills and product knowledge of NDT, RVI, ENV, and sUAS or UAV knowledge is a plus.
Renumeration and Fringe Benefits Entitlements, what we offer:
Initial compensation includes a base salary of $48,000.00 CAD to $53,000.00 CAD, based on experience.
Also eligible for qualification for an annual bonus and an in-office work environment at our Edmonton location.
