Combinând acoperirea globală şi cunoştinţele locale, experienţa inegalabilă şi expertiza în fiecare sector de activitate, SGS acoperă întregul lanţ de aprovizionare, de la materiile prime până la consumul final.

As Industrial Safety – Equipment Certification Specialist Europe, you act as the single point of contact for International activities within SGS. Main activities include the support of the global team identifiyng the relevant capabilities in the SGS network, provide support to develop new capabilities and relevant coaching / training to extended SGS teams. You will be part of SGS’s Industrial Safety Team providing solutions to clients to fulfill statutory requirements for machines, equipment and projects in the manufacturing and process industries, in the OPEX and CAPEX phases. SGS Industrial Safety covers the following general fields: Mechanical safety (machinery, lifts, pressure vessels, etc.), Functional safety, Process Safety, Structural Safety (construction products), Fire & Explosion safety (ATEX), Electrical Safety and Cyber Safety. Main Purpose of Role Support the deployment of the strategy to the affiliates. Working within the Global Team supporting the collaboration between affiliates. Act as the technical interface between a multinational client and SGS network. Key Accountabilities Support to prepare new templates for new / varied service scopes being developed / implemented. Support with development and implementation of new training schemes and upskilling of workforce to changing demands in skills and certifications. Responsible for maintaining the global capabilities matrices for the global operations. Maintain the SharePoints of Industrial Safety Equipment Certification to allow access to the information. Support the management and the organization of global meetings for trainings and alignment. Auditing affiliates ensuring they are aligned with the group strategy, policies and practices. Support to further deploy the digitalization project of services. Support in preparation of marketing materials for new and existing services. Be a key contributor in the continuous improvement process of the organization At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.

Skills & Knowledge Deep knowledge and understanding of purpose and role of TIC (testing, inspection, certification) in assurance sector of markets. Knowledge of International standards in particular those related to Accreditation of Conformity Assessment Bodies. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems standards and auditing techniques. Good general knowledge of SGS Industrial markets. Must have good communication skills at all levels, speak and present assertively. Strong numerical skill. Proficient in MS office suite, particularly Excel, Power BI, SharePoint and related tools. Team player with a real ability to network and collaborate across all network cultures. Good time management and presentation skills, analytical skills and a deep understanding of industry trends. Ability to work independently managing multiple simultaneous opportunities and projects. Experience Minimum 5-year experience in TIC (testing, inspection, certification)/ Technical Services / Operations particularly those providing statutory, regulatory and similar high-value compliance services in competitive markets. Experience in inspection/testing/conformity assessments of machinery according to of Conformity European/UK Conformity Assessed requirements: Machinery Directive 2006/42EC, The Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 (as amended) and Harmonised/Designated Standards (A-type, B-type, C-type) on a variety of industrial machinery and assemblies of machinery. Experience in Use of Work Equipment Directive (UWED). Desirable – familiar with explosion protection & functional safety requirements. Knowledge of audit practices (e.g., EN ISO 19011), assessed and confirmed by an internal or external organization. Experience in dealing with claims and complaints, evaluating and managing risks. Familiar with matrix structured international organisations advantageous. Qualifications Must – university degree or equivalent, preferable in business or relevant technical discipline. Must – business grade English language. Desirable – additional language capability. Desirable – qualification as Auditor/Lead Auditor (ISO 19011) issued by an accredited body (40hrs course).
