About this role
Are you an aspiring supply chain or procurement professional with a strong interest in construction, engineering and infrastructure, and how materials, plant and services are sourced and delivered to major projects?
We are inviting Expressions of Interest for Undergraduate Internship Opportunities – Supply Chain & Procurement.
These Brisbane‑based internships give you hands‑on experience across procurement and supply chain functions supporting both corporate and project environments.
You’ll contribute during the June/July 2026 semester break and continue two days per week during semester, with opportunities to travel and spend time supporting active construction projects as part of early career development. This practical exposure supports future roles in supply chain, procurement or commercial construction career pathways. We anticipate these internships will provide a pathway to our 2027 Graduate intake, subject to performance and business needs.
Responsibilities
Procurement support: Assist with purchase order creation, RFQs, supplier pricing comparisons, and procurement documentation in line with company procedures.
Supplier management: Support supplier onboarding, maintain supplier registers, and assist with compliance documentation (insurances, certifications, prequalification).
Supply chain coordination: Help track delivery schedules, plant and material requirements, and interface with project teams to support procurement planning.
Data & reporting: Maintain procurement trackers, analyse spend data, and prepare summaries in Excel and PowerPoint for internal reporting.
Contract & compliance support: Assist with maintaining procurement records, contract documentation, and audit‑ready files.
Continuous improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency, accuracy, and governance.
To be considered, you’ll ideally bring
Final or penultimate‑year studies in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Commerce, Procurement, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong interest in building a career in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or commercial operations, ideally within the construction or infrastructure sector.
Strong numerical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
Confident with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); exposure to ERP or procurement systems (e.g. SAP) is advantageous.
A proactive, team‑focused mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Willingness to travel and mobilise onto construction projects, when required, to develop practical, on‑the‑job capability.
Availability: Full‑time during June/July 2026 break, then 2 days/week during semester (flexible around exams).
Current Australian work rights.
