Join the Woodcrest team as an Environmental Services Attendant and make a daily impact by helping maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment for tenants, employees, and volunteers. This role combines environmental services support with light maintenance and scheduling responsibilities to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
This is a part-time position (approximately 40 hours every 2 weeks) with the potential to become full-time.
Qualifications:
Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred (but not required), including knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, supplies, infection control, and safe chemical handling.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Light maintenance experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by performing housekeeping duties including disinfecting, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, furniture organization, and cleaning walls, mirrors, and floors while supporting Woodcrest’s Hometown Culture.
Properly use and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
Keep work areas and utility rooms neat, organized, and safe.
Report needed repairs and facility improvements to the Environmental Services Supervisor.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, employees, and visitors through professionalism, patience, and excellent customer service.
Refer resident medical or personal care concerns to the nurse in charge.
Complete assigned daily duties, special projects, and light maintenance tasks, including tracking maintenance time.
Assist with additional duties as assigned.
