Environmental Health & Safety Consultant

Who We’re Looking For (Position Overview:)
The EH&S Consultant will have extensive expertise implementing EH&S and has detailed knowledge of EL&D in either commercial or federal government applications. Person will be responsible for determining integrated system design of required business scenarios and processes with particular focus on environmental liability and disposal.

What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities)::
• Collaborate in the development and articulation of strong value propositions for transformational initiatives – from process SME and S/4HANA perspectives
• Apply strong knowledge of the business processes for developing and testing ERP functions associated with business operations.
• Facilitate Explore workshops (solution architecting, requirements gathering) with business managers, client staff, and end-users to determine business and functional requirements
• Review and/or perform design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA systems to meet client business requirements
• Provide functional specifications for any required development.
• Participate and assist in high level planning.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and training of end-users, including sharing best practices
• Provide leadership to junior systems analysts and client personnel assigned to projects

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements)::
• A&D / discrete manufacturing experience.
• Experience as a Value Stream Lead involving a US deployment of an SAP S/4HANA global design with localization in US geography.
• A minimum of five (5) years prior professional consulting or equivalent business process industry experience
• At least five (5) years of hands-on systems configuration experience within your given SAP component
• Successful completion of at least three full life cycle implementations of S/4HANA v2019 or later
• Successful completion of the rollout and localization of a global template

• Specific SAP component configuration and deployment experience:
• Determine table configuration.
• Provide integrated system and design expertise in designated functional areas
• Provide SAP planning experience in recommending and assessing design.
• Facilitate use of implementation methodology
• Review design for integration aspects of the solution
• Provide input on technical implications of specific design.
• Provide functional specifications for any required development.
• Provide input on training approaches where required.
• Provide recommendations for functional gaps Familiarity with SAP Roadmap for respective Value Stream and ability to define a target end-state and transitional plan within context of customer project portfolio.

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong ability to facilitate discussions and negotiate mutually beneficial solutions when necessary
• Willingness to travel as needed to client locations
