• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs in compliance with Malaysian regulations and corporate standards.
• Conduct and review HIRARC, risk assessments, and EHS audits to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure effective control measures across manufacturing operations.
• Lead or facilitate incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation and tracking of corrective and preventive actions.
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver EHS training programs, including safety induction, regulatory training, and contractor safety management.
• Actively support and guide the site Emergency Response Team (ERT), including organizing drills, evaluating emergency preparedness, and ensuring emergency equipment readiness.
• Analyze EHS performance data, identify trends, and prepare reports for management review and regulatory submission.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Facilities, and Project teams to integrate EHS requirements into manufacturing processes, projects, and management of change (MoC).

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field

Preferred:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant EHS experience, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of EHS management systems and standards, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22301, and RBA requirements.
• Relevant professional EHS certifications i.e Safety and Health Officer  (SHO) are highly desirable.
• Fluent in English with working proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia
