Role: Enterprise network ( LAN / WAN ) and Security (Firewall/IPS/IDS) on Cisco and Juniper
Duration: Full TIme
Location: Houston,TX

Job Description:

· 10 - 12 years of experience in IT Infrastructure function.

· In-depth design knowledge of network( LAN / WAN ) and security (Firewall, IPS, IDS, VPN / Remote / Mobility VPN devices on Cisco and Juniper ) in large scale environments.

· Experience on Cisco technologies, firewall and Data Center Networks

· Technical knowledge and experience in management of large enterprise customers network involving Data & Security environments.

· Should have good understanding of IPv4 Address planning and implementations.

· Experience and exposure with various native monitoring tools and third party monitoring tools

Ø Desired Certifications:

· CCNA, CCNP – Security

· CCNA - Routing

· ITIL Processes

Ø PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide technical direction and frameworks to meet business needs

· Provide expert consultation for major network initiatives or incidents

· Produce and/or endorse network standards

· Provide advice and recommendations specific to customer requirements

· Evaluate emerging technologies against business and IT strategic needs

· Serve as a key representative on major network initiatives

· Analyze technical needs, requirements, and state of the network's infrastructure design, integration, and operations

· Work with technical management to architect networks that effectively reflect business needs, service-level and availability requirements, and other technology parameters

· Establish governing principles for network design and deployment

· Update standards and guidelines

· Assist in scoping and costing of projects

· Guide and influence team members and business colleagues

· Work with other SMEs and technical support teams in the pursuit of technically excellent solutions

· Produce technically excellent solutions architecture that is aligned to business needs and direction

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
