As an Account Manager, you'll be responsible for owning and growing Sanity’s most strategic customer relationships. Key responsibilities include driving NRR, expanding accounts through consultative sales cycles, and identifying new opportunities. You'll maintain accurate forecasts, stay current with industry trends, and deeply understand Sanity's products. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of enterprise sales or account management experience with complex technical solutions, a proven track record of creating actionable plans to drive business growth, long-term partnerships, excellent communication skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Success in this role requires engaging with business and technical leaders and showcasing Sanity's value.
What You’ll Do
• Own and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts, driving long term relationships and delivering solutions aligned with customer outcomes.
• Drive NRR and revenue growth through relationship management, cross-selling, upselling, and solutions consulting.
• Proven record of exceeding targets including NRR and expansion goals.
• Run consultative sales cycles to uncover business needs, map Sanity solutions and demonstrate ROI at both executive and end-user levels.
• Actively identify growth opportunities within accounts from new use cases and additional teams to increase usage and feature adoption.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product to identify and drive new opportunities.
• Leverage deep product knowledge to drive customer value and accelerate account growth.
• Monitor customer health and key metrics to proactively identify and mitigate churn risks, coordinating with internal teams to address issues before they escalate.
• Create and maintain customer account plans with defined next steps, consistently tracking progress to ensure results and achieve goals.
• Stay current on industry developments, competitive landscape and customer digital strategies to position Sanity as an indispensable partner.
• Deliver accurate forecasting and pipeline management across renewals, expansions, and potential churn.
• Partner closely with customers to understand their goals, develop success plans, and ensure they realize full value from the Sanity platform
About You
• Based in the greater London area
• With over 5 years of enterprise sales or account management experience in SaaS, and a proven track record of delivering strong NRR and exceeding expansion goals.
• Proven track record of exceeding revenue goals with large-scale or enterprise customers: cross-selling, upselling, and solutions consulting.
• Comfortable working with both business and technical leaders, influencing strategy and securing executive buy-in.
• Experienced in identifying and building relationships across various accounts.
• Employ an analytical approach to account development, using data to find opportunities and demonstrate value.
• Proven ability to maintain accurate forecasts and communicate revenue outlook to leadership.
• Domain expertise in the CMS space and/or experience selling API-based solutions in software, SaaS, CPaaS, or PaaS.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Have an entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to define processes and build programs.
• Familiar with sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Looker, and G-Suite.
• Hands-on, passionate, creative, ethical, and a team player. Eager to deliver excellence.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
