The Opportunity:
With a strong growth agenda for 2026, Murphy Geospatial are excited to create a new opportunity for a highly skilled and dedicated Enterprise Account Manager to join our Mission Critical Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid background in business development within the construction, engineering, or infrastructure sectors to drive strategic growth and shape our activities in the mission-critical data centre market. The successful candidate can be based out of the UK, Ireland or Europe, where a hybrid working option will be offered.
What will I be doing in my new role?
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics within the Digital Infrastructure and Data Centre sectors.
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including potential markets, partnerships, and clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders across the UK and Europe.
Manage major accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets and increase market share.
Lead negotiations and secure contracts with clients and partners, ensuring favourable terms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor performance, and represent the company at trade shows and industry events to enhance the Murphy Geospatial brand.
Advising clients on technical approaches to business problems, using our wide array of data capture and delivery techniques.
Working closely with operations to ensure end to end project alignment with client expectations and scope
Maintain and analyse key information during the bidding process.
Working closely with BD executives in other departments, to develop multifaceted and complex solutions for selling to our vast client base.
Requirements of the role:
Education: Bachelor's degree in surveying, technology, BIM, civil engineering, business or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
Experience in business development, sales, or a related field in AEC market. A proven track record of success in the Mission Critical/Data Centre sectors an advantage.
Proficiency in analysing market data and performance metrics.
Travel: Ability to travel nationwide/throughout Europe as required
