Position Title: Enrollment Specialist
Reports to: Enrollment Services Coordinator
Employment Status: Full-Time; Hourly; Non-Exempt
Compensation: $19.25/hour

Responsibilities:
Become proficient in Salesforce (computer software), database functioning, and tracking systems
Provide accurate and complete information to referrals; making outbound calls and receiving inbound calls
Schedule referrals for educational sessions
Troubleshoot barriers to customers participation in educational opportunities
Assist direct care workers in enrolling in healthcare insurance in the Pennie system
Participate actively and collaboratively as part of the customer service team
Provide excellent customer service to participants, clients, and other stakeholders
Complete administrative functions as needed, including but not limited to outbound recruitment and marketing
Keep accurate records of trainee interactions and resolve trainee issues or complaints with professionalism and in a timely manner
Perform additional duties and projects, as needed, to ensure overall functioning of the work
Essential Skills/Attributes:
High school degree or GED required.
Bilingual applicants are highly desired, Spanish preferred and will be given special consideration.
Aptitude and significant experience working on a computer.
Proficient in Google and Microsoft programs.
Experience using Salesforce is preferred, but not required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working with people with disabilities, in health care, or in-home care a plus.
Experience working in customer service, particularly in an office setting, is highly desired.
Experience working for a labor union or social justice organization is desirable.
Being Pennie certified is highly desirable; must be willing to become Pennie certified, if not currently.
