Remuneration: $66,976.41 - $72,736.92 annum
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing
Become a valued member of the iGEM team at Blacktown Hospital’s Emergency Department, where you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality care to older patients under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
Your key responsibilities include:
Delivering hands-on nursing care within a geriatric emergency care model
Collaborating with Registered Nurses to achieve positive patient outcomes
Adhering to WSLHD standards, procedures and individual care plans
Promoting safety, dignity and accuracy in all aspects of clinical care
Contributing to a respectful, team-oriented environment focused on patient wellbeing

Essential Criteria:
Registration: Current registration as a Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
Selection Criteria:
Current registration as a Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others
Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery and to guide others in providing service excellence.
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems.
Detailed knowledge and understanding of risk management, safety and quality principles and the role of the Enrolled Nurse in applying these principles.
Demonstrated recent nursing experience in acute care or an emergency department.
