Position Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Enrolled Agent with strong tax preparation and client service experience to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will be skilled in preparing and reviewing a wide range of tax returns, providing tax planning guidance, and maintaining compliance with federal and state tax laws. Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns.

Research complex tax issues and ensure compliance with current tax regulations.

Provide proactive tax planning and advisory services to clients.

Communicate with clients to collect information, resolve discrepancies, and discuss results.

Assist with IRS and state correspondence or audit responses as needed.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and client satisfaction.

Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional ethics in all client interactions.

Qualifications

Active Enrolled Agent (EA) license required.

Minimum 3 years of tax preparation experience in a public accounting or tax firm environment.

Proficiency with QuickBooks and tax software (e.g., ATX, Lacerte, Drake, or UltraTax).

Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes, forms, and filing requirements.

Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Ability to manage multiple clients and meet filing deadlines.

Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on tax law changes.

Work Environment & Schedule

Full-time, year-round position.

Standard business hours, with additional hours during tax season.

Flexible scheduling or hybrid work options may be available for the right candidate.
