Zecure homes the well-known brands Rizk, Guts, Thrills and Aloha Shark. We are currently looking to expand the team to assist us in growing this new, exciting part of our ever-evolving group.

We're looking for an experienced Software Development Team Lead to join our agile development team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to build and work on enterprise-grade software systems while leading a talented group of developers. A taster of what you will be involved with:

Leadership & Mentorship

• Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning

• Maintain high standards of software quality by establishing good practices and habits, ensuring the team adheres to coding standards and best practices

• Foster an environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and productivity

Hands-On Development

• Participate in hands-on coding, contributing to the development of complex features and functionalities

• Contribute to system architecture decisions, ensuring our systems remain scalable, secure, and performant

• Work with teammates on the migration of legacy applications to current technologies, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing disruption to business operations

Project & Stakeholder Engagement

• Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements, development of user stories, and project estimations

• Engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements, communicate project progress, and manage expectations effectively

Technical Support & Problem Solving

• Provide third-level support to business users, addressing critical software bugs and complexities that require in-depth knowledge of the application

• Analyze and resolve technical and application problems, making necessary modifications to mitigate impact on project delivery

What we are looking for

• At least 5 years of experience in software development

• Proven ability to lead and manage a development team

• Experience in iGaming is a plus

• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Experience with PHP is a must using a framework like Symfony or Laravel

• Experience with MySQL and Redis

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and containerisation (AWS, Docker)
