Engineering Project Management professionals within Engineering Service are critical to the smooth running of innovative projects. Their key responsibility is to make sure project milestones and deliverables are completed on time and within budget. This involves the careful coordination of collaborative, cross-functional teams through a host of meetings and progress measurement activity. Their responsibilities begin at the beginning and they leave no job unfinished until the project is delivered.

What You'll Achieve

Manages Platform for assigned projects, or specific activities related to projects within given constraints of scope, schedule, budget, and quality through the duration of the project. The duties will include creating and executing product development schedule, tracking issues, risk management, communicating and interlocking engineering across all Global Functional Teams. Conducts periodic reviews to ensure project is on track and conducts post-project reviews.

You Will:

• Create and maintain the cross-functional development schedule.

• Establish appropriate methods through project planning, issue probing, and implementation to achieve effective solutions and to meet project/business goal.

• Create and maintain project BOM, conducts and participates BOM reviews to ensure accuracy and structure meets the need of all affected functions and regions. 

• Utilize the best in class tools and develop innovations to enhance the work efficiency.

• Facilitate partner alignment and maintain partner collaboration based on gap & issues identified. Identify Dell's need and enable vendor/suppliers on working model,  capabilities enhancement & process enhancement.

Essential Requirements

• 5-7 years Product Development Project Management Experience with extensive knowledge of Engineering Development Process.

• Ability to plan and executes work in the larger context of cross-functional teams and the end customers.

• Ability to drive for results, manage complex changing and deal with ambiguity.

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely through oral and written to teams, ODM/Suppliers, and upper management - Fluent English skill.

• Self-starter and fast learner as well as the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
